M3M Gurgaon has emerged as the highest bidder for Dignity Buildcon’s Vision Tower complex in Gurgaon with a bid totalling worth Rs 533 crore. The realty giant is planning to invest another whooping amount of Rs 500 crore in a property measuring total area of 1.1 million sq ft across three towers. As per the first person familiar with the process, professional services firm E conducted an open bid. “Initially 15 developers have showed interest and 5 of them have participated in the open bidding process. The project resents an opportunity to generate good returns and multiple foreign funds were keen to take it over”, said the person.
M3M Gurgaon has made an offer to pay about Rs crore as upfront cost and rest of it in instalments of four years. As per the sources, M3M emerged as the highest bidder for the open bidding process with an offer to invest Rs. 1000 crore which included paying Rs 533 crore to creditors in order to settle their dues. This was being done for the revival of stuck complex. Creditors constituted some foreign funds and Indian banks for the purpose.
